I am an independent Graphic Designer, Photographer and Writer-Editor.  I have worked in the Print Media for the past 25 years, launching and re-launching major magazines and newspapers in India. I am best known for designing magazine covers.

I have designed close to 1500 published magazine covers across genre.  I have also executed prestigious corporate reports occasionally. 

My soon to be published book, Brigitte Singh: Printress of the Mughal Garden , an illustrated book on the maestra of block printing, is due for release this fall. Published by Mapin, the 276-page book is edited, designed and photographed entirely by me.

Etudes

I am entirely self-taught on the services I give to my client. I am in the print profession for the past 25 years; Designing, photographing and writing-editing. I have not been able to teach any of my skills, however, I have on many occasions read and conducted workshops in central universities in India. I am proficient in English and Hindi; Bengali is my mother tongue, and I speak a halting.
