-Oversee Research, design, develop and create detail drawings and parts lists for mechanical test setups and test systems .
-Select components, set-up and operate test instrumentation.
-Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters and bridges.
-Read schematics, diagrams and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
-Install electrical parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
-Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
-Repair, rework and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
-Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
-Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently or prevent the physical condition of buildings to not deteriorate.
-Inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
-Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.

cad/cam programming:
-Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
-Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
-Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
-Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
-Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
-Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
-Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
-Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
-Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
